faqs certificates of attendance / continuing education (CE)
Yay! Everyone gets an attendance certificate if they meet all of the below:
Keep hold of your certificate(s)!
Please be sure to check that you receive your attendance and CE certificates in a timely way and store them on your system as we don’t store them for more than 6 months here. If you request it after that time, we would need to charge a $10 fee to reissue it from our archives.

Optional: you can fill out our training evaluation survey if you choose to. We welcome your feedback.
Continuing education credits (CEs)
- Use their unique Zoom link.
- Don’t share their link with anyone, for any reason.
- Can be identified on the automated attendance report we download from our Zoom account (which tracks who signed in, using their unique Zoom link).
- Attend the full training. The teaching time is 6 hours (6 x 60 minutes is 360 minutes), plus there's 1/2 hour lunch plus two 15-min breaks (420 minutes, 7 hours, e.g., 10a-5p). We require a minimum of 320 minutes of the teaching time to receive a certificate (we allow for 40 minutes of non-attendance) but below that we do not provide a certificate-- sorry, no exceptions, regardless of reason (much as we’d want to!). There is no partial credit for attendance.
- We are very sympathetic to circumstances, so if you cannot meet the 320 minutes of teaching time, we can offer you to attend a future webinar at half-cost. We will send an email to anyone who didn't earn an attendance certificate to offer them this option, with a link for the half-cost.
- All certificates are emailed within 2 weeks of the training, but typically much sooner as we're typically feeling jazzed up and want to help.
- Please do not contact us during or after the training to ask if you will be getting an attendance certificate. We can only issues certificates based on the automated Zoom report, and if you attended the minimum or more (listed above), you'll receive one within two weeks (but likely sooner). Sometimes people email us their individual situation on how many minutes they need to be away from the training, but we can't comment on that. If you meet the criteria above and show up on the Zoom report, you'll get a certificate :)
- If you switch to a mobile device (phone or tablet) be sure to use your same unique Zoom link so that you get credit for those minutes as well.
- Please note that the name you list on Zoom during the day will be listed on your certificate (see the FAQ page the training day). We can only make a correction to the name if it's our error.
- For all certificates: Sorry, no exceptions, regardless of reason (much as we’d want to!); we’re subject to audit for certificates.
- Even if you don't earn a certificate, consider yourself hugged-- we value the work you do!
