Seeking safety for adolescents
Can Seeking Safety be used with adolescents? Yes. It has been used for many years by many different programs, very successfully, using the existing Seeking Safety book.
NEW! We are also happy to now offer a Seeking Safety Adolescent Toolkit by Summer Krause, LPC, CADCIII (2023), which can be used with the Seeking Safety book.
Evidence? There is a randomized controlled trial with positive findings on Seeking Safety with adolescents. There are also pilot studies with adolescents (see the evidence page).
Training? One of our training team members, Summer Krause, is an expert on use of Seeking Safety with adolescents. She is available for phone consultation and/or regular training through us (email training@seekingsafety.org). And NEW! Adolescent Toolkit webinar 1-day training March 28, 2023

3. Helping adolescents understand and recover from trauma using Seeking Safety
