Teaching Guide to Introduce Seeking Safety to Your Agency
Pass it on! This teaching guide is designed for anyone in an agency who wants to help staff learn about Seeking Safety. Anyone can be A Seeking Safety training facilitator but it is preferred (but not required) for the person to have some clinical background and, if possible, direct experience conducting Seeking Safety.
Practical details. The teaching guide is online and is used with the Seeking Safety Training DVDs.-- you will need to have or order those DVDs to use this teaching guide. You will also need the Seeking Safety book. The teaching guide identifies time points in the DVDs to pause the recording and offers specific teaching points to make, and discussion questions to ask.
Guidelines for use. Please note the rules for use of this guide: (a) this guide is only for teaching within an agency and no one can be charged to attend. (b) You cannot identify yourself as "certified" or as "train-the-trainer"-- this is a teaching guide that anyone can use. If you purchase this item, we will email you instructions on how to access the website for this teaching guide. Purchasing this item allows 1 year of access to this guide, which is web-only.
