This study focuses on developing a mobile phone app for people ages 18 - 65 who have trauma symptoms and substance abuse. The app relates to Seeking Safety delivered by a certified peer leader. Free therapy telephone sessions of Seeking Safety for people with problem gambling and trauma in the provinces of Manitoba and Ontario, Canada
This study is based at the University of Manitoba and the University of Windsor
This study focuses on adults ages 18 - 65 who have gambling and trauma problems. The project offers free telephone sessions of Seeking Safety or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for gambling disorder with trained, experienced Canadian therapists, plus payment for completing online measures for the research (paid by amazon.ca e-gift cards). This study is funded by the Manitoba Gambling Research Program. You can receive up to $200 CAD in amazon.com e-gift cards for completing assessments, if you're eligible for the study and choose to participate
