training handouts
Great that you're doing a training and we're happy to provide handouts for your attendees.
Please note that the information below is for the standard Seeking Safety training (any length). For all other topics (Best Self, Women and Addiction, etc.), go to this page and information on the handouts is at the end of the description for each. If any questions, always let us know.
For handouts for our standard Seeking Safety training (which covers trauma-informed care, substance abuse, and Seeking Safety) please select handouts below based on the length of the training. For any training other than our standard training, please email us for the handouts once the training has been set up.
*Note: if all attendees will have the Seeking Safety book at the training you can use this shorter version of the 2024 basic handouts. The only exception is if your entity is billing the Los Angeles County Dept. of Mental Health for Seeking Safety services. The County requires each provider to have the book during the training, so it would need to be ordered ahead.
Important notes about all handouts
1. Going green: If you are "going green" and not printing hard copies of handouts, you can email the handouts to participants or post them to a conference website. However, for any workshop or 1 day training or longer, participants can only do the experiential exercises if they bring a copy to the training, or if you provide them in hard copies. You can even print a smaller number and they can share them (2 people can look at one copy together).
2. Powerpoint slides: our handouts do not include a copy of the powerpoint slides. However, a modified version can be obtained for any live onsite training if you request it by email and ask for "modified slides." However, it cannot be obtained for a webinar (a Zoom or online training). This document is more than 10 pages, so please keep that in mind. Also, it can only be distributed to attendees of your training in hard copy form (not distributed electronically nor posted to the web). It is designed to help out people attending a live training in a conference room, for example, where they don't have access to a device such as computer to take notes. Please be sure to request these in advance as they cannot be sent after the training. Thanks for your understanding.

- 1-day or 1.5 days please use all three of these:
