many types of Consultation
We enjoy consulting to help you meet your goals. Consultation is provided by Lisa Najavits and/or her
associates. Our typical consultations are:
Theme-based consultation via phone or Zoom
This is the most popular consultation we provide. Each one-hour group consultation helps your staff deepen their work with Seeking Safety, trauma-informed care, or any of our treatment models. It's the best of both worlds-- your staff can freely raise question but each consultation is also anchored to a specific theme to boost learning and engagement. See our list of themes here. You can do as few or many as you choose, in any order, and any staff can attend.
Certification (three types)
Certification can be very useful to evaluate the quality of your staff's delivery of Seeking Safety. And if formal research is being conducted, it is required (contact us to discuss your research).
(1) Certification in Conducting Seeking Safety
(2) Certification in Fidelity Rating for Seeking Safety
(3) Certification in Seeking Safety Supervision
Adaptation or translation of Seeking Safety or our other models
If your goal is to translate or adapt Seeking Safety or one of our other models, be sure to get in touch on the front end as advanced written permission is required; see also our FAQs on use of the materials.
Grants and research
General consultation
Lisa and her team also provide as-needed consultation to help improve services or programming for clients with trauma and/or substance abuse issues; technical assistance on a grant or project related to trauma, PTSD, substance abuse, clinician training, etc.; mentorship on research or clinical careers. If interested, please email a basic description of what you have in mind. We'll be happy to discuss options.
