Seeking Safety book - Danish translation (Behandlingsmanual til PTSD og Rusmiddelafhængighed)
This Danish translation of Seeking Safety is the complete book and totals 381 pages. It was translated by Drs. Sheila Jones and Sidsel Karsberg of Aarhus University, Denmark, in 2024 and includes an introduction by them. It is identical to the English book, except for one topic (Community Resources) and small language edits for the Danish cultural context. The book has a spiral back and plastic cover. Please note that per the publisher, Guilford Press, each facilitator needs their own book, and can share the book handouts only with their own clients (but not with colleagues nor to post publicly).

Oversættelsen er identisk med versionen fra 2002 bortset fra et tema (samfundsressourcer) som i denne version er udeladt og derudover er der foretaget små ændringer til den danske behandlingskontekst. If you would like more than 5 books you can either (a) order multiples from the options listed (e.g., for 7 books, click '5 books' and '1 book', remembering that the first book is already included); or (b) for a very large number of books (50 or more), email us to let us know how many and we will follow up with you ([email protected]) so that we can discount the shipping.
Shipping
1. Shipping 1 book to an address in Denmark is included in the price. It is shipped within four business days, except during holiday times it may take longer. If you are ever in a rush, please email us.
2. Shipping to an address outside of Denmark incurs a shipping fee, which depends on location; we will email you the cost for that. Also please note some locations outside of Denmark may impose a duty or tax that we are not able to include in the cost as we do not know what it is (each country differs). It is typically about $8 for one book and your local post office will notify you.
Payment by check or bank wire
It is best if you can use a credit card and order here on the website. To pay by check or bank wire, we would need to add a bank fee of $30 as we are charged for foreign deposits. (If the check is drawn on a U.S. bank there is no bank fee).
