Join us for a 1-day live training on Seeking Safety cohosted by Community Mental Health Affiliates and Treatment Innovations. This training is designed for anyone; no license, degree, or prior training is required.

Schedule: 9:00am to 4:30pm (Registration 8:30am to 9:00am)
1. Learn how to implement Seeking Safety with adults and/or adolescents
2. Review research and clinical issues in treating trauma and substance abuse
3. Increase empathy and understanding of trauma and substance abuse
4. Learn how to conduct Seeking Safety, an evidence-based model for trauma and/or substance abuse
5. Obtain assessment and treatment resources

Cost: Please choose from the following:
- $120 (training plus attendance certificate)
- $156 (training plus continuing education units (CEUs--see below)
In addition, if you register for the training, you have the option to add the Seeking Safety book at a discount in English, Spanish, or Chinese ($55) and it will be available to you when you arrive to the training (sorry we can't ship it to you directly).

Book: The Seeking Safety book is recommended for all attendees. The book can be purchased for $55 when you sign up for the training, on-site at the training (English language only), or at any time from our Store. You can also get it from other sources or if you have a copy already you can bring it. The book is a 400- page manual that provides all that you need to conduct Seeking Safety (clinician guide and client handouts). If purchase online when you register, the book will be provided at Registration when you sign in (please specify in Comments which language, i.e., English, Spanish, or Chinese; if none is listed, we'll assume English). Deadline to order books is September 5, 2018
If you are registering multiple people: Please be sure to write the names of each attendee in the comments field when you checkout, so that we will have the correct listing when they show up at registration.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs): CEUs are not included in training fee but are available at a cost of $36 (so for the training plus CEUs it would be $156 total, i.e., $120 registration plus the $36 CEU charge). See our list of CEUs that are available.
Payment can be via credit card on this website, which is the simplest method. Or you can pay by check or institutional purchase order using our registration form. If you mail the registration form it must arrive to us by September. 15th or we cannot guarantee there will be space. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm there is still space.
Deadline for registration: online registrations will be accepted through September 15th; if space allows you can also register on-site on the day of the training (contact Karolina Wytrykowska @ KWytrykowska@cmhacc.org).
Cancellation policy: Sorry but we are not able to issue refunds nor exchanges to another training date or location. However, if you register and are unable to attend you may transfer your registration for this training (same date, same location) to another person. Please email email@example.com with the subject line "Transfer Registration" and include your contact information as well as the information of the person you are transferring the registration to. Also if you ordered a book but are unable to attend, you can pick it up from the training location at a later date (email us and we'll put you in touch with them).
