Join us for a 1-day live training on Seeking Safety. Anyone can attend-- no license, degree, or prior training is required. This event is hosted by Operation PAR, the Boley Center, and Treatment Innovations
Date: January 29, 2016 (9a - 4p) with registration / sign in at 8:30a
Location: Pinellas Park Performing Arts Center, Pinellas Park, FL
Educational Objectives:
1. By the end of the day, you will be able to implement Seeking Safety if you choose to, with adults and/or adolescents
2.Review research and clinical issues in treating trauma and substance abuse
3. Increase empathy and understanding of trauma and substance abuse
4. Learn how to conduct Seeking Safety, an evidence-based model for trauma and/or substance abuse
5. Obtain assessment and treatment resources

Cost: $162 (training and includes lunch). You can also order a discounted copy of the Seeking Safety book for an additional $50 in English, Spanish, French, or Chinese (list in Comments field when you check out what language you want; if you order a book and no language is listed, we'll assume English).
Payment can be via credit card on this website, which is the simplest method. Or you can pay by check or institutional purchase order using this form.

CEUs: Course meets the qualifications for a total of 6 hours of continuing education units (CEUs). Some CEUs are available at no cost (please see the flier for those). If you want a discipline or license not listed on the flier, we can provide that at the additional cost of $30. For a list of those additional CEUs available click here.
Cancellation policy: Sorry but we do not issue refunds or cancellations. Once you are registered you can transfer your registration to someone else but we cannot issue a refund. If you want to transfer you registration to someone, email orders@seekingsafety.org and put in subject line, "transfer registration" and list all of your contact information and all of the new person's contact information. This must occur by the deadline below or sorry but we cannot honor it.
Deadline for registration: online registrations will be accepted through January 26th; if space allows you can also register on-site on the day of the training (contact May Carnal to verify space-- mcarnal@operpar.org or 727-549-6172 ext.224). Note: the discounted Seeking Safety book must be ordered by January 1.
